Master went fishing for King salmon yesterday with a bunch of people he works with. He said it was a lot of fun, even though he was very tired by the time he got back home, having been awake for thirty six hours straight, which is easy to do in summer in Alaska. They ate a lot of good food, one of the guys along used to be a chef, and of course they washed it all down with a surfeit of beer then later shared a bottle of Glenlivet scotch by the campfire.
Today was sunny and bright, I got to go to the dog park. Lots of my friends were there and we all walked around the lake together. More people complained in the newspaper about us being off leash. One woman with allergies opined that our Masters should move to another country if they can't keep us on leashes and obey the law. Master said, "What a great idea, I had never thought of relocating my life to Argentina to buy a big plot of fenced land where Rufus can run off leash. Pfft." The bad thing about The Law is that sometimes people come to use it to claim a propriety in a place they otherwise wouldn't have. Oh well, all this will be forgotten soon, people aren't going to pay attention to it for very much longer.
