I blogged on Wednesday about the impressive Flash programming at
Liquid Generation, and that got me interested in surfing the web for more. If you get a chance, check out the links at
Crossmind.net. Whew! -- Already I know I want to learn Flash and spruce up this site with it. There are some very sexy animations out there, sites that obviously people have spent quite a bit of time on, sites whose design is so good you find yourself lingering even if the content is not something that would ordinarily hold your attention.
Elsewhere, a palpable and distasteful crust has formed on the dialog of issues that concern the polity these days, issues which, try as you might, are nearly impossible to look away from. I'd like to chip away at some of that crust, and I might in fact get to it, but since there's no paucity of voices in blogsphere on these topics -- why the sheer ubiquity of links to
Glen Renyolds alone, for example, is itself enough to overwhelm one -- I guess I'd feel about as important as a dog pissing on a warehouse fire were I to blog on, say, the war in Iraq. Besides, a long weekend lies ahead, and Master and I will be spending some time in the mountains, at least that's what he promised.
