Thursday, March 06, 2008 Chance of Spring Seven to fourteen inches expected by Saturday afternoon. Bam! Plus, if you live east of Interstate 71, as we do, we were told to expect a chance of a wintry mix. Wait a minute, the total accumulation could be off as much as 100%, but the wintry mix will be exactly east of the 71? But only a chance? Uh huh. Are you certain? Ha! - of course not. For those of you unfamiliar with the Midwest, a wintry mix means snow, rain, and/or sleet, in variable proportions. Briefly, there's a helluva lot of moisture coming our way but heaven only knows how it will play out on the ground. Elsewhere, a somber Brett Favre: Even watching his own highlights, from what he called 16 wonderful years in Green Bay, became hard to do, as he hit a somber note. "I was watching at home last night, I actually broke down (watching) some of the footage. How could you not?" Favre said. "I realized what it's like to die. As I'm watching TV last night, I said this is what it's like for me to die." Well find a grave and hop in with the rest of us friend, because those Sundays without you will be like being at the dog park on lead - pointless.
