It wasn’t until a good friend texted me with condolences a couple hours after the game was over that I realized the winning field goal was almost blocked. I had no idea. Happy Wife and I were putting on our jackets and settling our bill at the Peanut Farm as the 49ers lined up for the kick. I couldn’t watch. Supposedly, the Packers were offside on the play so it wouldn’t have counted anyway. THAT would have been way worse. The off season rest will do the Packers well.
