   Well the rain got biblical right quick. Especially yesterday. This morning I rushed to the front door when I heard the doorbell ring. I gave a dutiful bark or two, then backed off when I recognized it was Ron, our next door neighbor. He cautioned Master to inspect our basement for possible flooding, as his had three inches of standing water in it this morning. There was a bit of dampness in ours but no need for concern. If anything the increased humidity helps prevent the wine corks from drying out, and this is overall a good thing.

   The music for the wedding is the last remaining unfulfilled detail. If you play a guitar and possess a pleasant singing voice, especially if you reside in Anchorage, please e-mail before month's end. Dress is classy-casual, you'll be provided a complimentary corsage or buttoner, and enjoy free food 'n booze to boot. Candidates familiar with Peter Gabriel's song The Book of Love will be given special consideration.
