Sticky Sweet

   Holding back her ears....

Behold the latest mangling of a perfectly good song by the band Simply Red. Should be: Holding Back the Years. Blame Master and N for this one. Every time they mangle this chorus line they crack up laughing. Accompanied, in this instance, by endearingly holding back Lucy's ears, making her look a little like Sister Bertril on speed. Sure, who hasn't at one time or another substituted their own lyrics for those forgotten, but in the shower for goodnes sake, not every giddy moment of the day. And the closer we get to the wedding the giddier they both seem to be getting. Almost cloying I tell you, cloying.

For instance, as I write they're both in bed, N with a book (The Da Vinci Code), and Master tapping his keyboard burning selected iTunes for the wedding CD. "What, no band?" you ask. Nope, not this time. It was Brunellos and Barolos or a band. Something had to go. Besides, as weddings go this is going to be a relatively low budget affair, attended by maybe fifty, tho perhaps as many as seventy (!), friends and family. A photographer was appointed just yesterday. He's a friend of the family and doing it all pro bono. All digital, too. Thanks, Kevin.

Oh it's going to be grand, and blogged! Yes yes, the wedding will definitely be blogged.

See, this is what I was talking about, I just heard Laid (needs Quicktime plugin) by James get burned to the CD:

This bed is on fire with passion and love
the neighbors complain about the noises above
but she only comes when she's on top ...

   Giddy once again. Sheesh.
