Many of our mountain bike trails here are lined with O. Horridus, an incentive to avoid falling if ever there was one.
Dearest husband, Unfortunately I have to correct you. The top photo is actually a cow parsnip (herecleum maximum). Devils Club gets a cone of green berries that turn red in the fall. You amd Lucy will have to get another photo, I’m afraid.
